2. They are formed by the erosional actions of the rivers
3. Are associated with gorges, canyon etc
U shaped valleys:
1. Are caused by actions of glaciers in hilly regions
2. Are modified forms of pre-existing valleys or we can say that any previous valleys are converted into U shaped.
3. They are associated with hanging valleys.
