The efferent ducts (or efferent ductules or ductuli efferentes or ductus efferentes or vasa efferentia) connect the rete testis with the initial section of the epididymis. The vas deferens is responsible for directing and propelling sperm into the urethra, after the sperm has passed through the epididymis.

Vasa efferentia and ductull efferentes
Explanation:
- The vas deferens transport sperm from inside the scrotum (ball sack), through the muscular strength divider, into the prostate. There are two of them, each around one foot, or 30 cms, in length. In a warm shower, with the scrotum loose and hanging, delicately press the sack over the balls between your thumb and pointer. You will feel numerous strings going straight all over, vertically. They feel like cooked spaghetti. Those are the vas deferens.
- The efferent pipes transport sperm from inside the testicles, through the tunica divider, into the epididymis, which is the delicate, springy thing you can feel connected to a testis at the top and down one side, as a rule the back. There are 15 to 20 efferent channels on each side. They are exceptionally little, 2-3 mm, and move sperm, by cilia and smooth muscle compressions.
