Array processor is a synchronous parallel computer with multiple ALU called processing elements that can operate in parallel in lock step .

It is mainly used for pipelining which helps to perform multiple tasks together.One body does not needs to wait for other instead more than one task goes along with another.

Vector processor implements the instruction set that operate on 1-D arrays.

Whereas scalar processor works on single data item but vector processor is different.
