Bernoulli says air must accelerate over a curved surface for all the air to reach the same place at the same time, also at the same time reducing the pressure. Venturi says air must accelerate when passing through a restriction, also reducing the pressure at the same time, so all the air gets to the same place at he same time. Same principle, different surface.
