The difference between invertebrate and vertebrate are the following points:-
- vertebrata have internal skeleton but invertebrata have no internal skeleton.
- vertebrata have backbone but invertebrate have no backbone
- vertebrate have two pair of limb but invertebrate have three or more pair of limb.
- A tail is usually present in vertebrata but tail is absent in invertebrates.
- body is covered by hair in vertebrate but hair is not present in invertebrate.
- nerve cord is is present in is dorsally located in vertebrata but at nerve cord is ventrally located in invertebrates.
