Answer :
This question is based on the short story 'The Portrait of a Lady' by Khushwant Singh.
According to the story, the major differences between village school education and city school education are as follows :
1. The village school taught religious scriptures while no attention was given to religious education in the city school.
2. Music education was imparted in the city school while no music education was imparted in the village school.
3. The city school focused on English and Western Science while the village school focused on the alphabet and the morning prayer.
