Melting is the change of state; Typically a change from solid state to liquid state of a substance. The molecular formula of the substance remains the same during this state change.

Burning is oxidizing a substance. That is, the substance reacts with oxygen (usually) and its molecular formula changes.

it is the process in which an object burns with presence of heat and light

it is the processin which an object that contain wax , the wax portion starts melting
