Website: A website refers to a location on the internet and a collection of webpages, images, videos which are addressed relative to a common Uniform Resource Location (URL).

A web portal, on the other hand is a web page which contain links to other websites... eportal presented information from diverse source in a unified way.... when we use search engines like Yahoo Google etc.... a few web page is open...these web pages contain links to other websites... a web portal does not contain information on any topic but suggest the user to find out the desired information.... web portal offer services like gmail., information, news , entertainment, etc ....
