weight:- product of mass and acceleration due to gravity act on body
e.g. weight=mass x g
where g is acceleration due to gravity.
this is varies with g .hence weight is not constant .weight unit is newton because this is a type of force.
mass:-mass is not varies .this is constant property of body.mass unit is kg, gram etc.

There is a basic difference, because mass is the actual amount of material contained in a body and is measured in kg,gm, mm and etc..
Whereas weight is the force exerted by the gravity on that object mg.
or
Mass is the amount of matter present in a body while weight is a measure of how strongly gravity pulls on that matter.
