Difference between Mass and Weight are :

Mass

•Mass is a property of matter. The mass of an object is the same everywhere.

•Mass can never be zero.

•Mass is a scalar quantity. It has magnitude.

•Mass may be measured using an ordinary balance.

•Mass does not change according to location.

Weight

•Weight depends on the effect of gravity. Weight increases or decreases with higher or lower gravity.

•Weight can be zero if no gravity acts upon an object, as in space.

•Weight is a vector quantity. It has magnitude and is directed toward the center of the Earth or other gravity well.

•Weight is measured using a spring balance.

•Weight varies according to location.

Answer:

difference between mass and weight:

1. mass is a measurement of the amount of matter something contains while weight is the measurements of pull of gravity on an object.

2. mass is measured by using balance comparing a know amount of matter to an unknown amount of matter. weight is measured on a scale.

3. the mass of an object doesn't change when the location change. weight ,on the other hand with location.
