1. The Indian classical music focuses more on melody created using a sequence of notes.There are many variation,alaps and the tones are very difficult .Different melodies are constructed using different raga rules. Indian singers can change the notes when needed while singing. There is a sense of spirituality in their singings....
2. Western music does not consists of ragas or alaps they sing flat they have no knowledge of surs or tals .Moreover it is composed my writing musical notes on a paper .Singer or musician can not change the notes accordingly.....
