XYLEM : 1) This tissue contains xylem vessels, tracheids.

                2) It helps in the transportation of water from the soil to the roots and to the leaves of the plant.

PHLOEM : 1)it contains phloem vessels and companion cells.

                2) It transports food and water to all parts of the plant.
