The following are the differences between the Zonal and Azonal soil:

1. Zonal soils are the soils that are fully matured. They became developed under the requirements of healthy soil drainage covering a long duration of time. Whereas, the Azonal soils are the soils that do not have a well-developed clay extent but there is regularity in the soils from bottom to top.

2. The zonal soils can be classified into, Laterite soils, Red soil, Red and Yellow soil, Black soil etc., whereas, the classification of the azonal soil can be seen in the Entisols, Inceptisols, Alluvial soils.
