  • A zygote is formed by the fusion of male and female gametes whereas a foetus is formed by the growth and development of an embryo
  • A zygote is the beginning of the formation of a baby whereas a foetus is an unborn baby in the uterus
  • A zygote is a single cell whereas a foetus is multicellular.
