Striated muscles : 1. They are cylindrical in shape and multinucleate.

                               2. They are present in body parts such as hands and legs

                               3. It helps in the voluntary movement of body.

Unstriated muscles: 1. They spindle shaped and uninucleate.

                                   2. They are present in the wall of food canal, stomach, mouth, iris, etc.

                                   3. It helps in the involuntary movements of body.

Cardiac muscles: 1. They are cylindrical, branched and uninucleate.

                              2. They are present in the heart.
