Hi. There are generally two main differences between MEIOSIS and MITOSIS.
1. Meiosis includes two neuclear divisions whereas mitosis includes only one.
2. The four daughter cells resulting from meiosis are hapliod and generally distinct. Whereas, the daughter cells resulting from mitosis are deploid and are identical to the parent cell.
