  1. Slow acidic characteristics.
  2. Most amides are solid at room temperature.
  3. Have relatively higher boiling points.
  4. Have carbonyl groups in their structure
  5. Composed of C, H, N, and O atoms.

Amine----

  1. Slow basicity.
  2. Most low-molecular-weight amines are gases at room temperature or are easily vaporized.
  3. Have relatively lower boiling points.
  4. Have no carbonyl groups in their structure.
  5. Composed of C, H & N atoms.
