Amide----
- Slow acidic characteristics.
- Most amides are solid at room temperature.
- Have relatively higher boiling points.
- Have carbonyl groups in their structure
- Composed of C, H, N, and O atoms.
Amine----
- Slow basicity.
- Most low-molecular-weight amines are gases at room temperature or are easily vaporized.
- Have relatively lower boiling points.
- Have no carbonyl groups in their structure.
- Composed of C, H & N atoms.
