Amoeba is a simple, unicellular organism which reproduces by binary fission. ... Transverse binary fission is the splitting of the cells along any plane during division. Binary fission is generally seen in unicellular organisms such as amoeba and paramecium falling into the category of protozoa.

IN AMOEBA , SIMPLE BINARY FISSION TAKES PLACE IN WHICH PARENT BODY DIVIDES TO FORM 2 DAUGHTER CELLS , IT DOENST INCLUDE ANY PLANE OF DIVISION .

WHEREAS IN PARAMECIUM , THERE IS TRANSVERSE BINARY FISSION , IN WHICH THE PLANE OF DIVISION IS HORIZONTAL AND AXIS IS TRANSVERSE .

HOPE IT HELPS UH :)
