deforestation

1.means cutting more n more trees

2.it is done for human benefit (building houses,sell of furnitures etc)( which is not gud)

3. it causes huge harm to nature like soil erosion etc

4.it causes less rain,less O2 less trees for medical(aryuvadic) purpose

5.it also indirectly harms human by providing less pure air,rain water disbalnce etc

1.means planting more n more trees

2.it is done by human again for benefit (selling fruits veges)

3.it causes gud profit for nature

4.it causes gud amount of rain with correct balance

5.it has no harms only profit

DEFORESTATION

1. Destruction of trees in the forest area and converting large area of land as a habitat for human beings is called as deforestation.

2. Deforestation has many ill-effects on the environment.  

3. Different causes for deforestation are urbanisation, industrialisation, construction of irrigation structures, forest fires, mining activities,wood collection etc.

4. Deforestation leads to increased carbon dioxide levels, global warming, late arrival of monsoon, effect on climate, loss of habitat by wildlife etc.

5. Deforestation should be controlled.

AFFORESTATION

1. Afforestation is planting of trees in barren lands to increase the area under forests.

2. Afforestation influences the climate of a particular area and shows positive effect on the environment.

3. Different causes for afforestation are to maintain the favourable temperature in the environment, regulate monsoons causing rainfall, restoring forests, providing habitat for wild life, prevent soil erosion etc.

4. Afforestation helps in maintaining balance in the nature.

5. Awareness about afforestation should be created. Different afforestation programmes in India are Social Forestry, Agro Forestry and Urban Forestry Programme.
