let, C.P=x
4% of x=4x/100
6% of x=6x/100=
S.P in 1st case=x+(4x/100)=104x/100
S.P in 2nd case=x+(6x/100)=106x/100
acc to ques, (106x/100)-(104x/100)=3
2x/100=3, 2x=300
x=150
So, S.P of 1st case=(106*150)/100
=(104*3)/2
=156 rs
S.P of 2nd case=(106*150)/100
=(106*3)/2=159 rs
4% of x=4x/100
6% of x=6x/100=
