difference is -12 with solution
I know the answer is -5, 7 but i dont know how to solve it​

we know that if there are two no. in minus or plus sign so it means both are in minus / plus so we will add

eg - -12 and - 7 we have to add them unless the sign is already given

but if it is like this :

- 12 + 7 then we will have to minus that's the rules now here in this question lut us think that 5 is missing and mark it as x and the ans. is 7 so in this case ( u can follow this rule both in + and -)

-12+ x = 7

hence we will ;

-12 -7 = x which is 5 as when we minus 7 by qw we get 5 and similarly if 5 in given and 7 is not we will do the same :

Hence, the question is, -12 - x = 5

we will get 7 so x=7
