and the age of his father = x+30
(x+30)² - x²=1560
x² + 900 + 60x - x² = 1560
x² will cancel out
900 + 60x = 1560
60x = 1560 - 900
60x = 660
x = 660/60
x = 66/6
x = 11
age of sohrab = 11
age of his father = 11+30 = 41
