The difference between Karnataka and Uttarkhand vegetation are:

  • Karnataka's forest ecosystem is very dense and diverse. And due to such a diverse ecosystem, it becomes an important part of the vegetation.

        Vegetation types in Karnataka include:

  1. Tropical Evergreen
  2. Semi-Evergreen.
  3. Moist Deciduous.
  4. Scrubs.
  5. Sholas and Coastal Mangroves.

  • Whereas talking about Uttrakhands vegetation, its cover is only about 60% of the total area. Small and medium trees like Pine, Oak, Walnut and Larch, Rhododendron are part of its vegetation.

Different places have their own unique type of vegetation depending on factors like temperature and moisture.
