(a - b) = 7 ----------(1)
by second condition,
a^2 - b^2 = 210 ---------------(2)
we know that,
x^2 - y^2 = (x + y)(x - y)
equation (2) can be written as,
a^2 - b^2 = (a + b)(a - b)
210 = (a + b).7
ie. (a + b) = 210/7
(a + b) = 30
therefore the sum of given numbers is 30.
