Echo is the bouncing back of sound from a hard and fast object at a certain distance.
Reverberation is the multiple reflection of sound in a hall caused due to overlapping of sound waves.

If we shout or clap, near a tall building or a hill, we will hear the same sound back in a little time. This is called an echo.
