Aryans-North Indians are Sanscrit language  based speakers and  Dravidyans-south Indians are Tamil language based speakers. Both groups of  these Indians  originated from East Africa and settled down in India. Due to climatic changes , their colour had changed from black to dark, brown, and fair.
If we trace the linguistic origin of the Sanscirt speakers , their might have been started some where in Central Asia. Where elase the Dravidyan language also has its origin even from out side India.
However, the great scholar/researcher Deva Naya Pavanar concluded the people of Kumari Kandam went as far as as Russia and returned to India as Aryans. Thi theory is quite similar with the latest theory based on DNA conclusions  carried out recently in India.
What ever it is we are all one- human beings. We have  mind and soul.  Then , one must show LOVE  to  others and treat every one equal. The rest all utter RUBBISH.

There is no mention of any tribe named Aryan. I think Aryan was a name given to follower of Aryan dharma since Aryan meant noble and obviously people who followed the particular Dharma were considered Arya just like people who follow Islam are considered Muslims.
Battle of the Ten Kings - Wikipedia
Āryāvarta - Wikipedia
In Manusmriti, the tract between Himalaya and Vindhya ranges, the eastern and western sea was called Aryavartha as these was the region were the Vedic Aryan Dharma was followed. Other two texts: Vashistha Dharma sutra, Baudhayana Dharma Sutra also call it as the region to the east of the disappearance of the Sarasvati river, West of Kalakavana (I guess Sunderban forests in Bengal Delta), Below Himalayas and North of Vindhyas i.e. North India and East Pakistan. That means the Vedic Religion was being followed in these region.
There were certain non-Vedic tribes mentioned in the Mahabharata. They were composed of tribe located to North-West of India: Sakas (Scythians), Yavanas (Ionian Greeks), Hunas , tribes located in Eastern part of India like Paundras (Bengalis),Kalinga (Odias), Kiratas (Nepali), Sinhalese (Buddhist Srilankans), and those to the South of India: Kanchis (people living around Kanchi: Tamils), Karnatakas (Kannada people), Andhras (Andhra people), Udrakeralas (Malayalee people), Talavans (probably related to Tamil), Dravidas (somewhere in south, probably Maharashtra)
Dravida Kingdom - Wikipedia
So Dravida was just one of the many Southern tribes.
Now if you wish to know the difference between ANI(Ancestral North Indian) and ASI (Ancestral South Indian). ANI tribe is a Caucasoid tribe i.e. closer in genetics to Middle Easterns, Europeans, Caucasians while ASI is genetic code unique to India probably the earliest inhabitants of India. ASI and ANI were separated 60,000 years ago.
4000 years ago the mixing began and Modern day Indians were formed
When did north and south India mix? About 4000 years ago in the Narmada Valley, study says
