The differences are as follows:
1) In poultry farming animals domesticated include chicken, geese, duck, turkey and guinea fowl while in beekeeping the animals reared are bees.
2)Product of poultry farming include eggs and meat while beekeeping the major products are honey and wax.
3)In poultry farming the farmers at times use antibiotics to help fight bacteria while in beekeeping there is no use of antibiotics.
4)In poultry farming the farmer provides the birds with food except in some instances in free-raring poultry farming while in beekeeping, the bees find the nectar on their own from flowers around the farm.
5)Maintenance of the birds in poultry farming is quite involving as the farmer has to keep them in check, getting them back to the shelters or keeping them in shelters away from predators and also feeding them unlike in beekeeping where the bees move in and out of their hives independently.
