Broadcasting-

  • It is a method of seeding, and in this the seeds are spread in a filed either by hands or by mechanical means.
  • Seeds of carrots, radish, turnip give good results when planted by broad casting.

Transplanting

  • It is a process in which a fully grown seedling or plant is taken out from the soil and transplanted to its permanent location.
  • Transplanting increases the flower or fruit bearing season of many plants, thus it helps in economical growth.
  • Therefore it is a important method followed in agribusiness.

Hope it helps!!
