Indian constitution came into effect on 26 January 1950 where as South African constitution came into effect on   4 February 1997.

Indian constitution is borrowed from many countries while as the African constitution is not so much borrowed .

Indian constitution was created after independence where as African constitution was created when the country was still facing the civil war.
