evaporation occurs on the surface of liquid and it is a vaporization of liquid.it is state of transition from liquid to gaseous state. the differ is that there are some important microscopic and macroscopic differences that help make the distinction.

It occurs at a particular tempertaure called boiling point.

It occurs throughout the mass of the liquid.

It dont produces colling effect.

It is a slow process.

Bubbles are formed in this process.
