1. The guard cells are bean-shaped in surface view .

2.The guard cells contain chloroplasts, so they can manufacture food by photosynthesis.

Epidermal cell ;

1. Epidermal cells are irregular in shape.

2. The epidermal cells do not contain chloroplasts.
