1) Himalayan river flows throughout the year i.e., they are perennial whereas the peninsular rivers are seasonal.

2) Himalayan rivers receive water from glaciers whereas peninsular rivers receive water from rainfall.

3) Himalayan rivers have longer courses whereas peninsular rivers have shorter courses.

4) Himalayan rivers flow in northern part whereas peninsular rivers flow in peninsular pleateau.
