The Himalaya is found in the northern part of India, the coastal plains are on the eastern and western part of India along the coast; and the Islands are located in the ‘Arabian Sea’ and the ‘Bay of Bengal’.
Differences between Himalayas, Coastal plains and Islands is given below:

- The coastal plains are divided into the eastern and western coastal plains which are used for agriculture.
