Mitotic cell division:

One daughter cell divides once to form two new daughter cells.

Takes place in somatic cells.

Takes place more frequently.

Meiotic Cell division:

One daughter cell divides twice to form four daughter cells.

Takes place in germ cells.

Takes place less frequently.

Hey here is the answer to your question

Mitosis:

1- Divides to form 2 cells.

2- Cell divides only once.

3- Prophase is simple.

4- No synapsis occurs (synapsis means paring of homoloud chromosomes).

5- No crossing over takes place.

6- Chromosomes number remains same at end of division.

7- Takes place in somatic cells in body. Eg: hair, skin, organs etc.

8- Occurs in both sexually and asexually reproducting organisms.

Meiosis:

1- Divides to form 4 cells.

2- There are 2 cell division.

3- Prophase is divided into 5 parts

1) Laptotene

2) Zygotene

3) Pachytene

4) Diplotene

5) Diakinesis

4- Synapsis occurs

5- Crossing over takes place ( crossing means Exchange of genetic material between 2 homologous chromosomes)

6- Chromosomes number is halved at end of meiosis

7- Takes place in Germany cells. Eg: Sperms, ovums etc

8- occurs only in sexually reproducing organisms.

Sexual reproduction:

Off spring produced from 2 parents

Asexual reproduction:

Off spring produced from 1 parent
