Difference between compounds and mixtures are:-
MIXTURES:-
1. Substance mix in any ratio
2. Chemical reaction does not take place during it's formation
3. Mixtures maybe homogenous or heterogeneous in nature
4. Constituents retain their properties
COMPOUNDS:-
1. Definite elements are present in definite ratio
2. Elements combine chemically to form a compound
3. A compound is always homogenous in nature
4. Constituents loose their properties
