Modern Technology describes the technology of the current century that has been aldready tested and created while Latest Technology means the technology which has been created in the very recent and is not yet available for use in public and is in development.

if you are telling to not to copy then according to me technology to the instruments machines education which was used or which was performed before nearly 500 to 600 years or 1000 years we can call it is a modern technology
if you call latest technology it will be strictly based on the 21st century the inventions the experiments the system of the 21st century will be known as the latest technology

iron is used by the people since thousands of years so it doesn't mean that it is a latest technology it is a modern technology ok
