Answer:

Parenchyma has a thin cell wall of their cells, and are made up of cellulose. Whereas collenchyma cells have an uneven cell wall made up of pectin and hemicellulose. There is a hard and thick cell wall present of the sclerenchyma cells, which is made up of the lignin.

Difference between parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma

Parenchyma Collenchyma Sclerenchyma

1. Primary cell wall is present. 1. Primary cell wall is present. 1. Secondary cell wall is present.

2. Parenchyma cells have thin cellulosic/hemicellulosic cell wall and normally do not show secondary wall thickening. 2. Collenchyma tissue has thick non-lignified walls with irregular cellulose thickening that provide mechanical support and tensile strength to the growing organs. 2. Sclerenchymatous tissue has uniformly thick lignified cell walls that provide mechanical support.
