selective breeding is also known as artificial selection, here human takes part to bring the change in the particular breed be it plants or animals. by doing so he can get the desired characteristics of the plant or animal, like by selective breeding he is able to get good quality chicken n good no eggs, while in natural selection no human hand is there for the adaptation. Nature selects the trait to make its survival.
