►While Silicon Valley has a mix of software and hardware companies. Bangalore has mainly software companies.

► Silicon Valley has many companies that were started to implement a new idea. Funding for risky ventures is also available. Bangalore is not known for this.

►The cost of development is lower in Bangalore.

►The Indian companies are still much smaller than the IT giants of Silicon Valley.
