Difference between the properties of solid , liquid and gases.

☑️ Solid ☑️

1 . They are rigid and cannot be compressed .

2 . They have definite volume and definite shape .

3 . They cannot flow.

4 . They can be stored without vessel .

5 . Example :- Iron , copper , sugar , common salt .

☑️ Liquid ☑️

1 . They are not rigid and can be compressed to a very little extent .

2 . They have definite volume and take the shape of the container.

3 . They flow from higher level to lower level.

4 . They can be stored in open container .

5 . Example :- Water , petrol , alcohol , kerosene .

☑️Gases ☑️

1 . They are not rigid and can easily be compressed .

2 . They neither have definite volume nor definite shape.

3 . they flow in all the direction .

4 . they can be stored on a closed container only.

5 . Example :- Air , hydrogen , oxygen , Nitrogen .
