1:squamous epithelium: the cells are flat and tile like.nucleus is flattened, oval and is centrally located. they located in endothelium lining blood vessels and heart,mesothelium that lines body cavities wall of Bowman's capsule of nephron,lining of alveoli of lungs.
2:stratified epithelium: it protects the underlying tissues. it is classified into three types ,they are stratified squamous epithelium, stratified cuboidal epithelium, stratified columnar epithelium.
3:cuboidal epithelium: the cells are cube shaped.nucleus is spherical.they located in ovary,lining of thyroid vesicles, tubules of nephron's.
4:columnar epithelium: the cells are pillar like.nucleus is oval.they located in mucosa of stomach and intestine,lining of fallopian tubes,uterus,canal of spinal cord

➡️ this consists of two or more layers of cells

➡️ cells of basal layer are usually cubiodal or columnar.
