1.Pepsin is the chief digestive enzyme that break down proteins into polypeptides in the stomach whereas trypsin is the digestive enzyme which is secreted by pancreas as trysinogen that breakdown protein in small intestine.

2. Pepsin is the component of gastric juice while trypsin is the component of pancreatic juice.

3. Inactive form of pepsin is pepsinogen while for trypsin , trypsinogen is inactive form.
