Differences between tropism and reflex

Tropism refers to growth or turning movement of a plant in attempts to respond to changes in environmental stimulus while reflex action is a involuntary movement made by an organism (animal) in response to a stimulus. In terms of occurrence, tropism occurs in plants while reflex action is associated to animals.
