Differences between ways in which Alauddin Khilji and Muhammad bin Tughlaq dealt with Mongol invasions:
During Khilji's standard, the Mongols of the Chagatai Khanate under Duwa Khan attempted to attack the Indian subcontinent. The assaults that happened during the rule of Alauddin Khilji were not the first occasion when the Mongols had attacked India.
Khilji, by his military splendor, figured out how to vanquish the Mongols not once but multiple times, and dodged rout a time not withstanding when shocked, as the Mongols assaulted with monstrous powers.
The primary intrusion endeavor was completed in 1298 CE, and included 100,000 horsemen. Alauddin sent a military told by his sibling Ulugh Khan and the general Zafar Khan, and this military completely vanquished the Mongols, with the arrest of 20,000 Mongols, who were killed.
In case of Muhammad Bin Tughlaq due to lack of proper administration, he was not able to conquer Mongols as Khilji.
