1. Coast of emergence and submergence: Western coastal plains are called coast of emergence  

    whereas Eastern coastal plains (ECP) are called coast of submergence.

2. Width of coast: Width of WCP is narrow and that if ECP is wider.

3. Deltas: Due to narrow coast width of WCP river it forms estuaries.  

   Because of broader width river forms deltas.

4. Depth of continental shelf: WCP depth is much steep but in ECP it consists of gentle slopes.
