India has Parliamentary form of government whereas america has Presidential form of government.
in India president has nominal powers where as american president has supreme powers.
in India legislature, executive and judiciary coordinate with each other whereas in america this doesn't happen.
in India president have to follow his minister's advice whereas American president need not.
Indian president can do nothing contrary to his minister's advice whereas American president can do.
Indian president has no power to dismiss his minister until he get the majority of his ministers supporting him but president of America can dismiss any secretary at any time
