Rotational motion is where an object spins around an internal axis in a continuous way. These two types of motion are independent, but follow a lot of the same laws. For example, Newton's First Law says that a bodyin motion stays in motion, and a body at rest stays at rest, unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

Rotatory Motion:-
If the body moves about a fixed axis without changing the radius of its motion, it is said to be rotatory motion.
For Example:- A Spinning Wheel.
Translation Motion:-
Translational motion is the motion by which a body shifts from one point in space to another.
For Example:- The motion of a bullet fired from a gun.
