different b/w democracy and dictatorship

In a dictatorship there's just one leader who has total control over the party and the country. ... Democracy is the equal participation of the governed and the governors hence there is freedom between the two parties.Dictatorship is when one party is being suppressed by the other which is at that moment in power.

in a democracy the head of the country is chosen by the people they have equal rights and equal opportunities there voices are heard whereas in a dictatorship head is only one person who is not chosen by people many time it happens when someone overthrows a government by using a military coup people don't have freedom in such countries for example north Korea
