Explanation:

Saturated carbon compounds form only single bond between carbon and carbon . While unsaturated carbon compounds form double and triple bond between carbon and carbon. Saturated carbon compounds have suffix "ane" at the end like methane , ethane etc . Unsaturated compounds have suffix "ene" or "yne" at the end like ethane, ethyne etc. Saturated carbon compounds undergo substitute reaction and unsaturated undergo addition reaction.
