That is the main difference between sexual and asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction just means combining genetic material from two parents. Asexual reproduction produces offspring genetically identical to the one parent.....

Asexual reproduction :- In this only a single parent is involve.
1) It is always uni-parental.
2) Gametes are not formed.
3) It involves only mitosis.
4)Fertilization doesn't take place..
Sexual Reproduction :- In this both the parents are involve.
1) It is always bi-parental.
2) Gametes are always formed.
3) Fertilization take place.
4) It involves both meiosis and mitosis....
